1. Who We Are
Tawadoo.ma is an online marketplace operated by Tawadoo SARL Maroc, registered in Casablanca (RC n°639301), located at 77 Rue Mohamed Smiha, 10ᵉ étage, Bureau n°57, Casablanca, Morocco.

2. Information We Collect
Information you give us
• Name, username, email address, phone number
• Profile photo and listing content (photos, descriptions, prices)
• Messages sent through the platform
Information collected automatically
• IP address, device type, operating system, browser
• Pages visited, time spent on the platform, search queries
• Approximate location (city level) when you grant permission
Information from third-party login
If you sign in with Facebook or Google, we receive your public profile name, email address, and a unique identifier from that service. We do not receive your social media password.
3. How We Use Your Information
• Create and manage your account
• Allow you to publish, edit, and manage listings
• Enable communication between buyers and sellers
• Process Tawadoo Coin purchases and wallet transactions
• Send you notifications about your listings, offers, and orders
• Prevent fraud and protect the security of the platform
• Improve platform performance through aggregated analytics
• Comply with applicable Moroccan law
4. Cookies and Advertising
We use cookies and similar tracking tools for the following purposes:
• Essential cookies: required for login and platform functionality — cannot be disabled.
• Analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us understand how the platform is used.
• Advertising: Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok Pixel measure ad performance and allow us to reach relevant audiences. You can adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook and TikTok account settings.
Non-essential cookies are only activated upon your consent when you first visit the platform.
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these cases:
• Public listings: when you publish a listing, your public profile and listing content are visible to all visitors.
• Legal obligations: when required by Moroccan law or a court order.
• Service providers: trusted partners who operate parts of our platform under confidentiality obligations.
We do not share your personal data for any other purpose.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
• Active account data: kept for the duration of your account.
• Transaction records: kept for 10 years as required by Moroccan accounting law.
• Inactive accounts: data is deleted after 36 months of inactivity.
• Deleted accounts: personal data is permanently removed within 30 days of your deletion request.
7. How to Delete Your Data
You have the right to permanently delete your account and all personal data associated with it at any time. This applies to all data linked to your account, including data collected via Facebook Login or Google Sign-In.

What gets deleted
• Your profile, name, email address, and phone number
• All listings you have published
• Your messages and offer history
• Your Tawadoo Coins wallet and transaction history
• Your notification history
What may be retained after deletion
• Transaction records required by Moroccan accounting law (retained for 10 years, anonymised where legally permissible)
• Records needed to resolve any pending orders or disputes at the time of your request
8. Data Security
We protect your personal data using HTTPS encryption on all connections, hashed passwords (we never store them in plain text), and restricted access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable measures to keep your data safe.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant Moroccan authority (CNDP) without undue delay.
9. Children
Our platform is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at contact@tawadoo.ma and we will delete the account immediately.
10. Your Rights
Under Moroccan Law 09-08, you have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information (available directly in your account settings)
• Delete your account and personal data (see Section 7)
• Object to processing of your data for marketing purposes
• File a complaint with the CNDP (www.cndp.ma) if you believe your rights have been violated
To exercise any right, email contact@tawadoo.ma with the subject “Privacy Request”. We respond within 30 days.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify registered users by email if the changes are significant. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
